Map of the area where we import rugs
Our principal goal is to continue introducing the vast, rich and diverse culture of Central Asian Nomads to the West through their Carpets, and other Arts.
We wish to provide to our customers a very educational, pleasant shopping experience. We continual update our products and present you with today’s Carpets along side yesterday’s treasures.
Perhaps our most significant achievement, in addition to gathering a group of good friends for life, was gathering an excellent collection of CARPETS, KILIMS, PILLOWS, KHORJEEN, SOFRA, SALT BAG, IEKATS, and other decorative items. This collection, which is very dear to us in many ways, symbolizes the very soul of different tribes in Afghanistan and other parts of Central Asia.
We are an active member of Toronto Rug Society and we contribute to The Museum for Textiles in Toronto.
In 1987, R. Parsons published a few of our IRSARI and BELUCHI rugs in a book called "The Carpets of Afghanistan" under the name of Shir Paiwand.
This collection is now larger then ever and we keep adding every time we discover a good piece.
